Bon Voyage!

We set sail from Port Everglades, Ft Lauderdale, FL on Sunday aboard the Ruby Princess. http://www.princess.com/learn/ships/ru/amenities_publicrooms/index.html
It's the newest Princess cruise ship, built in 2008. Nearly at the 3,000 passenger capacity, our family of 18 has balcony staterooms on the 15th floor all in a row to make a "crawford corridor". Really nice way for the whole family to mingle while near the rooms.

We all celebrated Jessica's Sweet 16 birthday (actual date April 12) at the first formal dinner onboard the Ruby Princess that evening. Sweet!

Monday will see us in Princess Cay, a private destination for the cruiseline that includes all the typical Caribbean beach amenities, and the first test of our sunscreen!
