By The Light....

When I was due with Boy - I was in the Queen Mother's hospital in Glasgow.   I had been in for 8 days-pre- pre-eclampsia and had been induced by the evil gel on Friday evening.

On Saturday morning, nothing had happened, so they did the evil gel again, at 6.30.

Himself arrived about 9 am.  Still nothing.  We sat around the pre-delivery room, and watched as screaming girls came in.  Had a baby and left again.   (It was not unlike the scene from Friends).  I even babysat for a while.

At 3 pm Himself looked at me and said  I think I'll go for something to eat.   I said, yeah, no prob off you go.

And settled down in front of the TV - "By the light of the silvery moon". while an expectant dad sat beside me and said "Alright">

At that point I was.   Doris had just set sail across the lake when the first pain grabbed me   "ooooh"  I said.   Expectant dad turned and said "alright? "

"hmmmm" I said.

Then the second pain, and I slid off the chair on to the floor.

"hmmm" said Expectant dad.... and ran off to get help .

Himself only went to Byres Road, got a sandwich and came back - by which time I was up to 10 on my TENS machine, and screaming blue murder at anyone who came near me.

And that is what I think about every time I see a silvery moon.

I took this with the drone this morning just before 8.    I wanted to catch the Sunrise over the hill- see my extra.   I spun the drone round and the moon was heading for setting... inbetween the Moon setting and the sun rising - the golf course was all white with frost.   It's totally glorious to be able to see all that from the comfort of my back door.   I love our Drone  (Thanks Kids) ...
