Waiting for the birds

There were some sweet little birds hopping around in the tamarisk outside this morning, including a long tailed tit.  I went to get my camera and of course by the time I came back, they were gone.  I got my camera settings ready for them to come back, and took a test shot - and that was it - zero bird action for the rest of the day - well, not that I noticed anyway; work got a bit busy after that.
