Frosty morning

Today at Green Gym we were removing plastic protectors from trees planted 4 years ago.  Some were a tight fit.  I was given a Stanley Knife to slit them down.  I did check that our First Aid Kit was available!  No fingers were lost in the operation.  Other members of the group were mulching the trees we planted last week with wood chippings.
No1 son had a birthday today he is one year short of the big 60.  Of course I am not old enough to have a child that age!  Today was mild compared with the year he was born (the big freezeof 62/63)  The snow drifts on either side of the road were taller than the ambulance taking me to hospital.
