Colourful Cliftonwood...
After a morning's plumbing which left me feeling flushed with success, we nipped down to Ashton Court in Bristol, to stretch our legs and perhaps try the longer lens on the local fallow and roe deer herds.
Both herds were out on the sweeping curves of the city owned parkland, but the roe were too far away even for the Hubble. The fallow deer were sunning themselves within range but to be honest they weren't all that interesting.
I was mostly taken by the low sunlight on the sides of the multicoloured and far more expensive than they look Cliftonwood terraces. These iconic buildings are more often shot from across the river by Bristol dock.
I was pleased to see the car park at Ashton Court was only £1.40 all day! I'm sure we'll be back for more shots of Bristol. Heck, we could walk in to the city from here...
