Frosty morning
It was another sunny and frosty morning, and the bracken in the woods looked so crisp and white.
I enjoyed my walk with Xena, and then came home to a message from Tommy to say that Inca has tested positive for Covid which is such bad luck as tomorrow night is Tommy's special 21st dinner at Marcus restaurant in London. We have decided to postpone the dinner as we really want Inca to be able to attend, but getting a new date that suits all eight of us (family and partners) is just impossible. I did phone the restaurant and change the booking but now it seems that new date doesn't suit all of us....so it is back to the drawing board and I hope we find a new date. It is disappointing not to be able to go tomorrow night as we were all looking forward to it but Covid has a way of mucking up one's plans.
My friend who is coming with me on the photography trip to Iceland came over and we discussed camera equipment and clothing and camera bags and all that is needed.....it is her first photography trip so she needed some tips of what to take and how it will work.
The afternoon has run away with me and I am now going to an early evening appointment with a Dermatologist, and then probably have to go directly to an additional camera club meeting about printing images. As we have only had digital image competitions since I started in the club this print meeting is necessary as we are now going back to printed images and need to know all the details. We have been asked to take a lateral flow test (done, its negative) and to wear a mask. I am not sure where I will fit in supper tonight!
