Convoluted

The pelicans at Twycross Zoo were fascinating today.  Can you work out which bit is which?  Seemed sort of appropriate for Abstract Thursday!  If you are still confused there is a more distant version of the same shot in extras which might help you work it out.  There are some of the other creatures in extras too including some interesting if scabby giraffe knees, a giraffe's eye and attached bits, a gibbon's beautifully formed hand, a pair if bushdogs, an extraneous sparrow, and a very grainy shot of the snow leopard through a dirty window.

It must be at least 25 years since I last visited this zoo and I was impressed with the amount of work they seem to be involved with linked with conservation projects.  There were some empty wintery areas still and a lot of the birds are inside for their own safety but we had a very pleasant wander around.
