Day 020/22. Winchester Cathedral
I enjoy wandering around Winchester Cathedral if I have time to spare. It's a place of tranquility, history, thought and power. Today, after a coffee with a friend, I did have time in an almost empty cathedral.
This view is at the East End of the Cathedral, the Bishop Fox Chantry Chapel is on the left.
Bishop Richard Fox became Bishop of Winchester in the Tudor period in 1501, after a rather exciting time fighting alongside Henry Tudor at the Battle of Bosworth during the War of the Roses.
I took my time to get this shot. I'll admit it's not completely original, I recently saw another shot from this angle and thought I'd give it a go.
