Bishop Wood @ Magus Muir

The murder of Archbishop Sharp took place here at Magus Muir.

We have driven past this wood many many times and today I stopped to check a liquid level in the car. All was fine.

The wood suffered some damage recently however, there are many footpaths and some monuments to explore.

We had driven to St Monans to purchase some seafood. As always the route taken to get to a destination is not the route that we return on.

We enjoyed a very tasty late lunch.

The extra today is a detail of our Twisted Hazel.

This evening we watched Portrait Artist and Landscape Artist on Skye Arts which is a Freeview Channel. Of course, there is always the dreaded time limit. Far too limiting in my opinion judging by the results.
