Footprints in Photos

Love

Wow, what a fast day. 2 engagement shoots, great experience. So much to think about, I wish I could've filmed it to re-live and learn every ounce of knowledge from it as it was just an ever changing, fast moving situation. The bonus here being that I do get to do part of it again tomorrow as there is a 3rd shoot in one of the locations we used today.

Its interesting how different each couple are, both with how comfortable they are having their photo taken, and the different shapes of their bodies and faces. What works for one couple doesnt work for another. It must be quite a bonding experience for the couple as you notice them relax into over time as they begin to share each others personal space without the distraction of day to day life. I'm not really a soppy person but I did get a buzz from feeling their love and the thrill of the lifelong journey they're embarking on together.

I've had a look through and picked the most unrecognisable shot that still represents my day. Dont want to piss off the pro's before I've even got off the starting block ;-)

Poor Grandad was tired and grumpy by the time I got home. L, wearing only a Tshirt by this point had been crying for me during the day while M & E had fought over the sweets from the party bag E had got from last nights party. I'm sure that light hadn't helped matters.

As a mummy I feel guilty about so much. Trying to share time equally between the kids, the times I'm too short with them and then regret it once they're tucked up in bed, the times they chat away at me and I'm not paying proper attention. Guilt for calling in favours when I need help with childcare, knowing full well they have better things to do with their time. I always felt guilty when I was working too and carted them off to nursery from 7:30 am to 6pm but that was nearly 3 years ago. I'd kinda forgotten about this part of things. I shall prepare myself for some more guilt tomorrow while Im out of the house. I'm sure we will ALL get use to things, its too good of an opportunity not to cease.

Right off to bed to dissect today.
