Oh, Pixie!

A dog owner’s worst nightmare happened to me today - Pixie went missing!
We were visiting my friends as usual and both dogs were in their ‘dog proof’  garden - only Pixie wasn’t ! The garden has wooden and wire fencing all round but Pixie is very small and obviously found a gap big enough to squeeze through - she is very inquisitive, but has been visiting there  since she was a puppy and has never done it before. The garden backs on to fields but there was no sign. Fortunately all ended well - she was in with the chickens in a garden along the road and the gentleman phoned (thank goodness for mobile phones and phone number on the collar).Only 45 minutes or so of freedom,  but a very worrying time while it lasted.
