Back to the Green ...
Another visit to Glasgow Green today.
This is St Andrew's Suspension Bridge .
Built in 1855 it crosses the River Clyde connecting the Gorbals area with the Carlton. The bridge replaced a ferry for industrial workers. It was designed and built by Neil Robson and Charles O'Neill (who later emigrated to Otago in New Zealand). The bridge is A listed.
I took lots of photos today. I'll add a link to them another day.
