Another beautiful day

It was very sunny this morning, but the wind was chillier than I expected when I walked at Tyne Green over lunchtime. It made me go briskly.

I managed 3 miles on a flat, there and back walk. Arth is disappointingly sulking and has had a chemical cosh to stop him muttering at me.

Of all the images I took today, this backlit one of the teasels and the leaft is my favourite.

I spoke to various people, and their dogs, in passing, but also met and chatted with Pat and with Kate and Dennis. Pat lived in our village until she was widowed and she has now settled in Hexham. Kate and Dennis were enjoying walking in a different area from their usual.

I did a Waitrose shop and headed home for a snooze. Tonight we caught up with the most recent episode of Call the Midwife.
