High as a Kite

We headed off to do a circuit around the Harewood Estate today. The weather was ideal - cool, crisp, clear, perfect.

I've seen red kites in this area before, so even before getting in the car I attached the big zoom to the camera in readiness.

And what an awesome walk we had - I had a great few hours capturing photo's of these gorgeous birds, as well as some deer and big furry coo's. I was torn which photo should be the blip for today. I still am, but a decision had to be made and this red kite going overhead won the day.
