W-I-D-E on Wednesday: Minimalist (+ WildWed)

Bobsblips (who's just posted his 3,000th blip - Wow!) has suggested "Minimalist" as the theme for today's Widwed challenge. It was a lovely morning so my Editor and I went on one of our favourite local walks, to Killingworth Lake, which gave me the chance to get this shot for my blip. Several coots seemed to be having a good look round so hopefully they'll be building nests and having babies again before too long - although that didn't occur until late April/early May last year.

As this shows wildlife I'll also tag it for Cailleach's WildWed challenge.
