More paws
Thanks to everybody who identified my mystery plant yesterday. It’s a mystery no more.
I got into the fruit cage first thing this morning. Usually I pick raspberries towards the end of the day, after they’ve soaked in sunshine and warmth. However we had rain forecast from 11-ish and I was due in town all morning, so in I plunged.
The crop is slowing down now as expected. I picked 1kg which are already bottled.
I also remembered what I forgot yesterday: the courgettes. And as is the way of courgettes, they had doubled in size overnight, so there is more Bisque cooking as I blip.
The car has two new tyres, the library has two fewer books, the fridge contains a week’s milk, and the rain has arrived. Bean has retreated beneath a blanket and I’m testing a new and very promising comforting cauliflower curry recipe from the Moosewood Restaurant.
