Warten auf die Sonne

Waiting for the sun - the deck chairs are prepared.

After being totally smashed having a few drinks yesterday I had a rather late start. I had to be at home at the farm at noon, and that I barely managed. The reason I had to be at home was that there was some more work in the hop yards - we had to hang up the wires, around which the hop twines will grows up. Well, my job (as always) was driving the tractor, so rather unexacting.

Pictured is the small pond in our garden, with the deck chairs already prepared for the summer to come. The building right behind the pond is the machine shop with a part of our photovoltaic plant on the roof - which wasn't very effective this winter due to a thick layer of snow. So we are really waiting for the sun.

In other news, Bayern Munich secured the championship in the German Bundesliga today. With six matches more to play, the team is already 20 points ahead and therefore uncatchable - the earliest championship ever.
