Slow down

Today after the school run rush we slowed down and spent the morning outside in the crisp, cold but beautifully bright weather.
With my car in the garage, Max and I walked the long way home through the nature reserve and he spent ages just playing with the frozen water in the lake, exploring the frost and we tossed stones onto the lake to see how far we could get them. (Extras)
My car may have cost me a fortune but these moments together are priceless :)
