Toasting marshmallows

I was working in Colne today. I like the venue there as it is a little theatre. It wasn’t too bad a day although it is a bit of a trek to get there….fortunately Sue drove us both.

It is Pat’s birthday today and I had put a little bottle of fizz in the fridge this morning ready to whizz round to see her tonight. I knew she played badminton until just after nine and I was home at nine, which was perfect. I had thought this morning I would walk there tonight but it is absolutely freezing so I drove down. We had a piece of cake and glass of champagne. I had taken the marshmallow toasting kit that comes in a matchbox so we could have that too. It was a bit of fun and a lovely end to the day.
