Roar!

We had to go into Southampton this morning for some chores, I took this photo of one of the lions guarding the Bargate there. It’s recently been renovated and is looking good, there’s amazing detail of the two lions on display. This afternoon I’ve been doing some background reading on the Southampton and slavery project, an interesting book produced in Bristol about Colston and The history of slavery.
Thank you for the good wishes for my back ache, it’s still causing me some problems but I think it’s improving. I hope so!
