Ablaze

A beautiful sky at dusk after a day of unfortunate incidents.
Not a day to buy a lottery ticket !
We had planned a day out at the seaside in Ruby the motor home , chips on the beach and then a decent walk to stretch our legs .
However , we have neglected Ruby for too long and her battery was flat. Our Kia Rio lacked the power to jumpstart her , that was after we had pushed Ruby a few metres so that we could get the car near enough . I was impressed that we managed to shift her 3.4 tonnes (although she was on a slight slope )
We drove to the coast anyway, and when we hopped out ready for our stroll I saw that my wellies were NOT a pair ! Two left feet and different sizes .
There have been a series of unfortunate events today , one was a particularly lucky escape so we were extra delighted by the beauty of the sky when we got home.
Phew , early to bed tonight I reckon in order to be ready for the arrival of our small boy tomorrow!
