Layers

As seen from the ski piste in Leysin late this afternoon. You can see the layers of cloud starting to build up in the valley.

We left work at lunch and drove to Leysin to ski. It was very quiet and we had the pistes to ourselves. Stopped for soup/coffee and watched a flock of Alpine Choughs for awhile before spotting 19 chamois heading up through the deep snow in a line. Then it was back to skiing and a glass of wine in the village before heading home.
