A Bit Of Colour

It was clear when I went to the shop.
It was cloudy and drizzling when I came out.

I bought some tulips later since we haven't had any cut flowers in the house for a while.
I took some pictures of them before they open.

The dreich weather put me off doing anything in the garden so I went into the garage for a while - refined an old bowl and cut a piece of yew ... not easy as my hand saws are blunt (they are all rather old).

Yesterday there were loads of broken TVs out in gardens (they could be there for years because the council will not collect them).
Today I fully understand why they are there - mine very nearly ended up the same way.
It is all down to the absolutely shocking standard of news and weather coverage.

Just had some bad news ......  a family member by marriage has just been told she has maybe a year to live due to cancer - on top of her dementia.
