Sunrise

Another frosty and cold morning that was below zero when I stepped outside but, as with yesterday, the frost made me decide to stay away from the traffic and the pavements and take a walk on the Common.  The sun was low in the sky and coming up through the trees (although, admittedly, it’s not sunrise as the title may suggest). Another beautiful sight. It really is quite good for the mood to see this first thing in the morning.

Yet again, another day thinking and planning at work with even fewer real world conversations than yesterday. This work is important and blocking off time to do it has been very necessary but I can’t help feeling that, had we been in the office, I would have had some in-person conversation with colleagues. Today, because one colleague cancelled our regular catch-up, in person chat was limited to a thirty minute call with another at lunchtime.

I try quite hard not to repeat titles on these posts but Sunrise was used in February 2021. There are no original titles!
