Pirate!

Early morning sunshine was soon followed by fog today so fun times! We had to head into Southend to pick up a few bits and it was very quiet in there again.  But we got what we needed so a successful morning, followed by lunch at Wimpy!

This Southend pirate is along the seafront and I had to snap him as we drove past - I was in the back seat! - and it's on some hoarding which has been in place for some time.  There used to be a fish restaurant behind which was pulled down for refurbishment... and that's how it has stayed ever since! Not a pleasant sight as it's right by the Pier head so I think that is why the pirate has appeared!
