light catcher

When I was a child I loved making light catchers to hang in my bedroom window. You could buy kits that involved metallic shapes and plastic beads that you could arrange and then melt in the oven to look like stained glass. And at one point in time my oldest daughter made me a real stained glass piece when she took an art class in junior high. 
But the best light catchers of all are the ones found in nature.
