View from a fire pit......

Izzy's tail end left us with a grey, icy winded day today. I opted to stay at home and catch up with stuff as they were forecasting black ice, and between our local roads, and the local drivers most of whom have very little experience of winter driving (plus I really do loathe cold, windy weather!) a trip out in the car wasn't appealing.
Fortunately it doesn't take much light to charge up our solar lights and while it is too blowy for a fire tonight, when on my way back from a quick walk this evening the trees just looked beautiful.
Hopefully a brighter day tomorrow!
