It's the Kitty!
Yet another lazy day. I'm becoming a little too good at this work avoidance business! Quiet Saturday night in preparation for actually tackling some of my marking mountain tomorrow. Will also be popping into town to pick up a copy of the Mötley Crüe biography (I feel the need to read about some crazy stuff and am not sure how this has escaped my radar for so long....I love a good rock biography) and finally going to see the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff Bay.
On another note, I am looking to buy a telephoto zoom for my Canon 60D. Haven't got a huge budget and not sure exactly how much use I would get out of it. It is a toss up between the el cheapo canon ef-s 55-250 IS II or the slightly more expensive but has good reviews Tamron 70-300 VC LD. Is the extra £100 or so quid actually worth it for something that won't be on my camera all the time? I would like to shoot some wildlife and birds every so often and will like to take it along to Silverstone later this year so it will definitely be pretty much outdoor use only. For this reason, the slow speed of these two doesn't bother me so much. Any advice Blippers?
