The New Triffids

It was Monday.  Expectations were quite low.

I logged on and there was a mail - please call me as soon as you login.  So I did - before I made my morning cup of tea.  Fixed that problem.  Then 2 other calls.  Solved them as well.  I now have 15 minutes before the training course starts.

Made myself a cup of tea and started up the various websites and tools that I need to the training course.  One of the first things that we do on the course is we have "eine Vorstellungsrunde" - a round of introductions.  You say where you're working and give us a bit of an idea of what you expect from the course.  We normally do this in alphabetical order which means I'm either first or second.  I decided to make this in reverse order today which meant I had about 20 minutes to enjoy my tea.

The course went well - again - and people seemed to enjoy themselves.  That's always a good sign.
