You’re leaving us at home then?

I actually took 21 photos today - but the other 20 were of my great-niece and great-nephew (aged 5 and 19 months). I do not share recognisable photos of young children on social media, so I had to use this one which I took just to check the camera before going to meet them. We went to Ely Park - my nephew, his wife, the children and their one year old Cockerpoo ! I didn’t leave all the dogs at home - I took Pixie as she is the one which has the most fun with young dogs and children. It was a bleak day - but not raining - all dogs and children found mud but there were clean clothes and dog towels in the cars so no problem. I had not seen the family for 2½ years, mainly due to Covid so was meeting the baby for the first time. We  had a late lunch then they went home - plans are  being made for a family gathering in May so it will not be so long before I see them and my other nephew and family again.
