Here is a bonafide, surefire, irrefutable, undeniable, indubitable sign of Spring: Today we dusted off all the outdoor furniture which has been hibernating in the barn for the winter, and lowered it down from the hay loft for its summer sojourn on the deck.

Cue the barbecue, crickets, fireflies, and sunblock!
