Another day, another hotel room . . .

Gyp seems happy as long as I’m there and we create a little corner of her things as her bed. She’s very adaptable.

Today has been hard work. Just south of Bordeaux the fog started and continued ever since. Didn’t get as far as I’d have liked but the darkening fog exhausted me.

Have found a place to stay not far from motorway, but its a bit spooky! Lots of separate rooms like a motel with parking spaces, but dark and foggy in woods all around and apparently a pond further into woods. I don’t think anyone else is here. The restaurant was empty - only me there. Rooms are all dark and no noise at all. Will be interesting to see a bit more in the morning.
