‘Squirrel’

My daughter and I have birthdays 5 days apart (though separated by some 3 decades!). In recent years, especially since we have been living 50 miles apart and the grandchildren like to join in, we have tended to have a joint celebration.

This year, it was our turn to go to Glasgow and part of the day consisted of a walk along the River Kelvin and the Botanic Gardens. The grandchildren took the leftovers of nuts with them and offered them to the local squirrels. This particularly friendly one - taking advantage of the offer - was happy to have its photograph taken!
