Edinburgh cityscape

This is taken from the top of Midmar Drive, as the sun was beginning to go down. Morningside is in the foreground and Edinburgh Castle is on the skyline. I had intended to go out earlier, but Lexi decided to honour me with sleeping on my lap. In the end I did move her onto the sofa, so I hope she will forgive me and grace me with her presence again.

I visited Blackford Pond where there were still five cygnets, not looking very photogenic it has to be said with their mottled white and grey feathers. But I'm sure they don't care.
