Physalis hearts
We were out hanging up a new nesting g box when Susan pointed out her Chinese Lanterns which she’d left out rather than harvesting.
The sun had just appeared for the first time in the day, gilding the delicate tracery with a golden glow.
An uninspiring first part of the day gave way to a sunny and pleasant afternoon. Our walk eventually took us for a coffee and into Mote Park bumping into(not literally) two sets of people on the way stopping for chats for ten.m minutes or more.
Susan had another medical appointment this evening. Not related to her foot which was x-rayed last week. This one is an MRI scan to investigate a long standing painful hip. She’s had many visits to an osteopath to try and solve the problem, to no avail.
It was strange going to a medical appointment at 6.50pm on a Sunday evening to a mobile MRI scanner parked up in the carpark of a private healthcare provider. We hope it’ll help sort out the problem.
When we get back home there’s a final glass of Christmas port to go with cheese and biscuits waiting for us.
