New walking shoes

I get through walking shoes at a rate of knots, actually soles. Typically, they last about 600 miles, which works out at 30p per mile, which seems ridiculous.
These are a new pair of Meindl Respond shoes, which returned encouraging performance on some walks this afternoon.
