MORECAMBE

A trip over to Morecambe today, as per usual to see Mum.  We took her over to Dunelm for coffee and a browse as we needed some things ourselves.  

After this we went home for a chat and a light lunch.  She is doing really well so that is good to see.  Come about 2.00 pm ish it was time for us to leave, so a quick delve into the bathroom, put my shoes on, grabbed my coat and on going into the front room (lounge to posh folk) there was my brother and his partner.  

We did manage to have a quick chat but sadly we couldn't stay any longer as we the oven set to go off at 3.30 and needed to get home.  I also needed to stop off for a blip.  So a short chat and then it was time to leave.  Next time we will have to think of something else for Sunday dinner so I don't have to dash home for the oven!!!

We stopped off just outside The Midland Hotel, so I popped onto the beach, and then down the slipway by the RNLI station to take some photos (see extras).  Now this was a great lesson in light and photography because at one angle it was quite dark, in fact to the side of the Midland it was quite dark but on the beach in front of it it seemed very light - brilliant.

We got home and of course were greeted by the sound the oven beeping away at us - it sounded quite angry that we had just let it run on!!!  Still the roast beef was saved, everything prepared so all was well.
