More birds

I came across what I think are barnacle geese, seven of them, feeding on the shore at Glencaple and I managed to get within about 20/25 feet of them which was amazing.  At least three of them were ringed, going by my photographs when I zoomed in, but I have no idea whether they were ringed here or in Svalbard which is where they come from.  Apparently about up to about 4,000 of them have died from avian flu this year so it was good to see this group up close.
