Flowering again
My auntie Trix was amazing at growing orchids. She had a whole window sill of them in flower! From what she said, I think I was killing mine with kindness! Less water seems to be doing the trick.
As well as orchids, we have blue hyacinths flowering in the sitting room. Their scent is wonderful and not too overpowering. There is also an amaryllis, with its buds on the verge of opening and a large anthurium, grown from a small offshoot of Lady Findhorn's one, which is permanently covered in large red flowers. It really fitted in at Christmas!
A cold and drizzly day today so, after being at Ruth's, I took Lottie on a rather brisk walk then settled down to some hat knitting and listening to podcasts. Perfect!
