Sgwarnog: In the Field

Pass

The fog ebbed and flowed through the valley as the game progressed.

Covid passes were required.

A long pass, a stumble and Salford took the lead,

An elbow to the face left a City defender with a bloody face and shirt and missing a tooth. And Salford were down to ten men, their goalscorer sent off.

A second half with City advancing and crossing, and Salford defending and repelling. And then a ricochet, and the ball was in the net. 1-1 and still time for another.

Another cross; a chance for the gap-toothed and bloodied defender to climb and head the ball beyond the keeper into the goal.

2-1, a win, and the fog eased.
