Websphere

A busy day; my stamina seems to be improving. Took this snap late afternoon.

*Mrs M in bed with a heavy cold, so a welcome change for me to care for her. 

* I went to a gentleman's breakfast at a church in Southwell, organised by a a fellow villager who has in mind to do something similar in our village/benefice. Most enjoyable.

* I prepared a cassoulet for a royal visit late afternoon.

*The King was on top top form. Running up and down the drive with me on arrival, then straight to his toy workstation in our kitchen with hammers, electric screwdrivers, saw and so much more. He wore my headtorch for the first time, walking the dogs. Post dinner, a bit of disco dancing, then some quality time, talking about moving shapes along bent wires. As a finale, I pretended to fall asleep and snore in my chair to which, with great delight he would charge across from a sofa and push me with both hands as hard as he could saying "wake up grandpa" and laughing away.

Priceless.
