High Fashion

Whilst I would much, much, MUCH rather have the book that this hand coloured lithograph appeared in, the chances are between Buckleys and None.  (Only Australians will get that joke).

So I shall most likely bid for this at the auction tomorrow.  I'll buy it if its not too expensive.  I'm interested in this because it shows patterned fabric as part of a dress - the majority of dresses are plain silk or cotton, or whatever, so to see a brocade is interesting.  It's only interesting because I bought some brocade in the op shop the other day.  Yards and yards of it for only $10.  

So now you get a glimpse into the labyrinthine depths of my mind.
