Mature Women

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Caro wanted nothing for her birthday except chill.

"I just want a nice chilled day of nothing," she repeated. 

It is hard for the nervous husband. I told Ellie and Fazzy that Caro wanted nothing and they both made, "oOOoOoooOOooooO" noises. So I was concerned.

I did buy her a packet of 16 mini-cupcakes though. To be fair she asked for them and chose them herself. But I clicked the button on the thing and did the order and paid for them from our JOINT account so that's something, right?

And fortunately for me, when Caro says she doesn't want anything she actually means it. She had a lovely day up to 6pm, eating cupcakes and watching telly.

At 6pm, Tiger and Loulou came to take us to Pekapeka beach again. After their swim, the four of us sat on the beach as the sun started to go down, talking about foot fetishists and that friend of Caro's who got paid to let an old bloke w*nk into her shoe.

We are as highbrow as ever.

Today's picture sees Loulou photobombing Caro although I should tell you that they rehearsed this and we took about three versions of this shot. 

After the beach, we all went back to ours for fish and chips and to watch Florence Foster Jenkins.

We all really enjoyed it. Tiger and Loulou had never seen it before. Caro and I had but Caro had completely forgotten it. 

Ah, the benefits of getting older.
