Tribute to a poet

The poet being James McIndoe who penned the Queer Folk of Pollokshaws in the early 1800s, the Queer Folk refer to the highly skilled Flemish weavers who were brought to the Shaws by the Maxwell family.
Folk seemed to enjoy the walk, once we had all found each other; is easy to mistake Pollokshields station for Pollokshaws.
Lovely evening with M and P who presented me with three Barbara Pym’s she had purchased on eBay.
