A Nice Cuppa Tea

Called in to see Dad this afternoon and while I was at the home he had his afternoon cup of tea.  We had a long conversation about whether he could answer his phone or not.  Basically, the answer is yes if he hears it but don't expect a conversation that makes much sense unless he manages to turn the TV down first.  Ah Well.  He was ok but I think I will ask for a progress meeting at some point over the next month to see how the staff think he is getting on.  I think he needs more support than he is getting at the moment.  I hope things will be a little more sensible once he gets his other hearing aid sorted.

After that I went for conversation and coffee with Reddilady.  We managed both, put bits of the world to rights and shared life experiences.  Lovely.
