River and Tree of life

Took time out with my brother today to visit All Saints Church Clifton to see the glass painting exhibition shared by Incredibish 11th January. Some fantastic work there but the John Piper river and tree of life panels - which stand about 10 metres tall and made from fibreglass spoke to me today - totally unexpected and totally wonderful.
A particularly attractive church with the most welcoming and friendliest of vicars, built as a lay church and where the cotton and tobacco workers finished their marches as it was/is a place that welcomed all
