The smiling face of TFL

I've never seen Alexis outside Notting Hill Gate Tube Station before but she has quite a few fans. I saw her chatting to a. group of young women and complemented her on the flower in her hair.

She told me she loves being paid to talk as it's her favourite thing, but  prefers London when the daffodils come out.

I have to agree on that!

I went out for a longer walk today as we were advised not to yesterday. Although the air looked yesterday pollution levels were very high. Some people said they could smell the bad air. I couldn't. 

I have experienced very bad air in Hong Kong, Mexico and Runcorn (Google it). On each occasion you can smell  the air, your breath catches, you tire easily and you can taste the deposits on your lips. I suspect pollution you can't detect is possibly worse.
