Mushroom

A really cold, crisp, foggy morning - and I headed for the woods hoping for some mist over the beck. Unfortunately it wasn’t so thick over the water which was disappointing…however I did find some more fungus…sorry folks :-)

I though it stood out nicely with the mossy background (again) - and a little burst of flash helped too.

I also found a rather grand web (extra) which was covered in misty ‘jewels’. As I was photographing this, a lady came by walking her dog and stopped to see what I was doing - when I pointed out the web she looked horrified and said “I don’t even want to think how big that spider was” and promptly walked on!
