Whittle Arch

This is the apex of the Whittle Arch which spans the road outside the Coventry Transport Museum in the city centre. Just 100 yards away is the Cathedral.

I've done this shot a few years ago late evening in July when the sun was low and golden.

Today Gail was at the tennis at the Ricoh arena. I had just 30 minutes or so while waiting for the match to finish I estimated - they were rattling through the sets, so, I went into the city to redo the shot, this time hoping to get some fluffy white clouds. Both colour and mono are nice, but I preferred this mono treatment - the colours were not quite as good as I've done before.
