"..a host of golden daffodils......"

Yesterday they were still in bud. Today the tete a tetes in the pot on the patio opened their petals and enjoyed the sun. I wanted to capture the joyful colour. I like the way they appear to be conversing. The weather is brilliant today: sunshine and blue skies with white fluffy clouds.

Photorat and RT pics arrived in time for lunch. Photorat and I shared a flat when we were both at medical school. Mr Rat used to come to stay when they were courting. Let's say we've known each other since the 70s a good few years! They live in Dundee and have been in Yorkshire celebrating Photorat's 60th birthday with their family.

This morning they did a park run in Harrogate. After lunch I dropped them off at Steel Rigg and left them to walk back to Housesteads. I've made biscuits and a chicken casserole in their absence.

PS Arth has been very good today but it's not worth risking a tough walk with him yet.
